It's playoff time, and Eunice had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by an 18-7 margin over the Laguna Acoma Hawks on Wednesday. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

Peyton Williams was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Halley Jones was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eunice kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Laguna Acoma only managed ten hits.

Eunice now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Laguna Acoma, they moved to 19-8 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eunice beat the Hawks by a score of 18-7 later that day.
