Taraje Walker had an outrageously good game for Lake Placid as she scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Walker has scored all season. Antranique Felton was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.
Discovery dropped their record down to 4-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.0 points per game. As for Lake Placid, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.
Discovery will be playing at home against the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Placid's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
