The numbers might not have changed much, but the postseason is here and brought about plenty of gameday action in the power rankings this week. Among the action were the efforts of Mary Persons's senior J.t. Hartage, an offensive menace who scored five total TDs.
Can't Touch This
Rome got a 62 - 14 win over Jackson last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Jamious Griffin. Griffin ran for 231 yards and also punched in four touchdowns. That performance made Griffin one of the best players in the power rankings last week.

The battle between Tift County (ranked 8th in the power rankings) and Roswell (ranked 24th) turned out to be a somewhat underwhelming competition. Everything went Tift County's way against Roswell as it secured a 42 - 7 win. Tift County made sure to walk the walk to justify being talked up as the big favorite.
Next Week's Big Game
If you are itching to watch a first-rate contest, no game is supposed to fit the bill better than the one between Walton (12th in the power rankings) and Hillgrove (9th). The teams have their eyes fixed on the championship after last-week playoff conquests. Walton and Hillgrove can't both win again this week, so we'll learn on Friday which team falters and which extends its success.
