Randolph-Clay has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Terrell County Greenwave at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Randolph-Clay suffered a tough 45-22 loss at the hands of Mitchell County.
Terrell County fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Seminole County by a score of 18-7 on Friday.
Terrell County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shaheed Huckaby, who picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown. Terrell County also got help from Chavius Jones who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.
Randolph-Clay's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.0 points per game. As for Terrell County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-4.
Things could have been worse for Randolph-Clay, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-14 loss to Terrell County when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Will Randolph-Clay have more luck at home instead of on the road?
