The Presidio Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 62-31 victory over Kermit on the road. Winning may never get old, but Presidio sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Kermit lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Diego Juarez. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bryson Bennett, who scored four points.
Presidio's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Kermit, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
Presidio will finish 2023 at home by hosting San Elizario at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Elizario has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Kermit will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Monahans at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Monahans' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
