After flying high against the Patapsco Patriots last Friday, the Carver A&T Wildcats came back down to earth. Carver A&T received a tough blow on Wednesday as they fell 47-33 to Dulaney. Carver A&T has struggled against Dulaney recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Carver A&T's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jada McAliley, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elisah Guity, who scored eight points.
Carver A&T's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Dulaney, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver A&T will take on Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dulaney, they will head out on the road to take on Milford Mill Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Milford Mill Academy is ranked 94th, while Dulaney is ranked 70th).
