In what's become a running theme this season, the Jackson-Reed Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Woodson at home to the tune of 43-8. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Jackson-Reed also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Jackson-Reed was led to victory by Lucia Nawer and Kryslynn Stewart. Nawer scored 12 points along with two steals, while Stewart scored 11 points along with four steals. Stewart hasn't dropped below two steals for 14 straight games. Lillian Lacore was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds.
Jackson-Reed has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Woodson, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Jackson-Reed does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Woodson also has no future games currently scheduled.
