Meanwhile, even though Springfield scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, Northlake Christian still came out on top. Northlake Christian managed a 62-56 win over the Bulldogs. The victory was just what Northlake Christian needed coming off of a 89-46 loss in their prior matchup.
Pope John Paul II's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7. As for Northlake Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.
Pope John Paul II was able to grind out a solid victory over the Wolverines in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 51-39. Will Pope John Paul II repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
