Hereford has gone a perfect 10-0 against Borger recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Whitefaces will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Borger took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hereford, who comes in off a win.
Hereford's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Pampa 6-0.

Ethan Subealdea made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kade McPherson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Borger didn't have quite enough to beat Dumas on Friday and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Demons: they've now lost four in a row.
Like Hereford, Borger also got a great game from a two-way player: Lincoln Buchanan. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk). Buchanan is becoming a predictor of Borger's success: when he posts at least eight strikeouts the team is 3-1 (and 2-6 when he doesn't). Buchanan was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
In other batting news, Tony Phillips was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Hereford's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Borger, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
Hereford got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Borger by a conclusive 22-11 score. Do the Whitefaces have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
