The Highland Home Flying Squadron lost to the Brantley Bulldogs back in January, but the Highland Home Flying Squadron didn't allow the Brantley Bulldogs the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Highland Home secured a 59-54 W over Brantley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Highland Home.
When it comes to explaining why Brantley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jayden Parks. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Parks scored a full 37% of Brantley's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daylan Davis, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Highland Home now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Brantley, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Shields the next time they take the court. Brantley will head out to face Shields at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Highland Home will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
