After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southeast Career Tech, Cheyenne was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Awaken Christian Lions 18-5. The result was nothing new for the Desert Shields, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.
Taven Thaker was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
