Lexi Miller put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Miller was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
Miller wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Abby Pearson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Both the pair just can't seem to miss. Eastern has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.4 hits per game.
