Having just played yesterday, the Trinity Christian Tigers will jump right back in to play New Bern Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Trinity Christian comes in on seven and New Bern Christian Academy on four.
On Friday, Trinity Christian was fully in charge, breezing past Gramercy Christian 63-35. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Riley Burnham, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 boards, and Macey Skinner, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 23 rebounds. The game was Burnham's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kenna Overton, who posted 11 points.
Trinity Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 28 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, New Bern Christian Academy posted their closest victory since February 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Pamlico Christian Academy 32-30.
Trinity Christian better keep an eye on Jamie Lavoie. She was instrumental in New Bern Christian Academy's win, going 7-for-16 to rack up 14 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lavoie has scored at least a third of New Bern Christian Academy's points.
New Bern Christian Academy pushed their record up to 21-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 30-5.
Trinity Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against New Bern Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 56-51 win.
