Hillsdale has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Palo Alto Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Hillsdale was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 19-13 to Menlo School.
Erick Waugh put forth a good effort for the losing side as he threw for 254 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Meanwhile, Palo Alto had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 61-23 victory over Half Moon Bay. Palo Alto's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
Palo Alto haved a senior duo take command as Jeremiah Madrigal gained 138 total yards and two touchdowns and Declan Packer threw for 219 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. Madrigal's longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards. Isaiah Phillips was another key contributor, rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Palo Alto's victory bumped their season record to 3-4 while Hillsdale's defeat dropped theirs to 6-1.
