On Tuesday, LaGrange took a serious blow against Northgate, falling 68-9. LaGrange was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-5.
DeAsia Stinson had a dynamite game for Northgate, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 13 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Reynolds, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 13 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for LaGrange and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Northgate, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaGrange will challenge Elite Scholars Academy at 6:00 p.m. on November 29th. As for Northgate, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitewater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
