The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the  18-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in August of 2018.
 Despite the loss, Somerset Academy - Canyons still got an impressive performance from   Jayden Harrington, who threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.  Waden Charles was  Harrington's top target, picking up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 A big part of the  win came down to the chemistry between  Robert Green Iii and his top target  Tony Richardson. Green Iii threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes while  Richardson gained 235 total yards. Richardson showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 65 yards.
 Somerset Academy - Canyons' defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 2-2. As for Inlet Grove, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Somerset Academy - Canyons will venture away from home to  face off against Archbishop McCarthy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Somerset Academy - Canyons is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Inlet Grove, they will take on Central at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
