Joe Sullivan posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Sullivan and Omaha Central will challenge Omaha Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are 8-1 against the Huskies going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
