The Ben Lomond Scots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 50-29 defeat at the hands of Ogden. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Ben Lomond has suffered against Ogden since January 12, 2021.
Ben Lomond lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dory Jenson, who scored eight points along with three blocks. Another player making a difference was Ofa Arreguin, who scored five points along with 17 rebounds.
Ben Lomond's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Ogden, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ben Lomond will square off against Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Grantsville's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Ben Lomond has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Ogden, they will take on Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
