Leading Houlka to victory were Neal Moore and Elijah Kilpatrick. Moore scored 12 points along with nine rebounds, while Kilpatrick scored 15 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Tyler Winter was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Houlka now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Vardaman, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-5.
