The St. Johns Redskins stacked an 18th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past Round Valley 58-28 at home. The win was familiar territory for St. Johns who now have eight in a row.
St. Johns can attribute much of their success to Kayme Smith, who scored 12 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elli Otto, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Round Valley saw an underclassman step up: Harli Haws scored 14 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Jolie Bigelow, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Round Valley struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
St. Johns has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season. As for Round Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-11.
St. Johns does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Round Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
