Pierce City got themselves on the board against Marionville on Friday, but Marionville never followed suit. Pierce City made easy work of Marionville and carried off a 26-0 win. Followers of Pierce City probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
The victory bumped Pierce City's record up to 6-0. The loss dropped Marionville back to even at 3-3.
Next week Pierce City take on St. Michael the Archangel at 7:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Pierce City skips in on six wins and St. Michael the Archangel on three. Marionville will stay at home against Sarcoxie at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
