Topsail had to tread lightly for part of the  matchup as three Topsail players were handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.
 Jax Lawrence and  Timmy Hiles scored both of Topsail's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.
 Laney's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3-1. Topsail's  draw makes their record 8-7-3  this season.
