Fisher Catholic had to suffer through a rough 35-3 loss at the hands of Grove City Christian. Fisher Catholic was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grove City Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joshua Lautenschleger, who rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also caught a touchdown. Cayden Carroll was in the mix too, providing Grove City Christian with two touchdowns.
Fisher Catholic's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.0 points per game. As for Grove City Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Fisher Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grove City Christian will head out on the road to face off against West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
