It was a good run, but The Wheaton North Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 33-14 bruising from Quincy.
Quincy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bradyn Little, who threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns. Little hasn't dropped below 300 passing yards for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Adon Byquist, who picked up 187 receiving yards.
Wheaton North's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Quincy, their win was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 11-0.
Wheaton North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Quincy will be playing in front of their home fans against Chicago Mt. Carmel at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chicago Mt. Carmel presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Quincy in Illinois (Chicago Mt. Carmel is ranked second, while Quincy is ranked 27th).
