Volleyball Recap: Centennial's Losing Streak Snapped at Nine Games

Centennial came into Friday's matchup having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pocatello Thunder on Friday. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Thunder, too.

Kali Ogden paced Centennial's offense, picking up 19 kills. Ogden got some help from Meghan Lawless and her 38 assists. Kennedy Harris and Reese Hamaker kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Centennial's record is now 7-16. As for Pocatello, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Pocatello will both be playing Lake City the next time they take the court. The Thunder will head out to face the Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
