The Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past Dover, posting a 44-6 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Dwight Morrow, who have now won six contests by 23 points or more so far this season.
Jordan Moorer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also catching a touchdown. Moorer was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Damani Williams, who threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes.
Dwight Morrow's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Dover, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Dwight Morrow will face off against Pascack Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dover will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Cliffside Park at 6:00 p.m. on November 2nd.
