After a string of three wins, the Legacy Christian Academy Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dayton Christian. Legacy Christian Academy has not had much luck with Dayton Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nate Hess, who scored 18 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Burke, who scored ten points along with eight assists.
Legacy Christian Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Dayton Christian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Legacy Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Emmanuel Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Emmanuel Christian Academy is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Dayton Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Middletown Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
