Broad Run came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Dominion Titans by a score of 66-54. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Titans are ranked 155th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Broad Run's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Dominion, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Broad Run won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lightridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Broad Run's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Dominion will take on Potomac Falls in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
