Southland Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 90-37 victory over the Crisp Academy Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Crisp Academy lost, don't look at Kane Bridges. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points along with seven boards and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Reese Reed, who put up 14 points.

Crisp Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Southland Academy will head out to challenge First Presbyterian Day at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crisp Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Covenant Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 4.
