Make it 12 blowout wins for the Sulphur Bluff Bears this season. They put the hurt on Avinger with a sharp 64-40 win on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Sulphur Bluff sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
It was another big night for Dakota Klemptner, who scored 12 points along with 11 rebounds and ten assists. It was the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. Brody Gunn was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Sulphur Bluff is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. As for Avinger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-19.
