They escaped with a win on Monday against Biggsville West Central by the margin of a single free throw, 55-54. Despite the loss, Biggsville West Central still got an impressive performance from Shelby Bowman, who scored 31 points along with three steals. Bowman scored a full 57.4% of Biggsville West Central's points, the 14th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Harlee Hainds, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Macomb pushed their record up to 7-9 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Biggsville West Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5.
