Roanoke Rapids typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Northern Nash proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 58-34 win. Northern Nash pushed the score to 46-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Yellowjackets cut but never quite recovered from.
Izeal Mallory II continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was CJ Rosser, who scored six points along with two steals.
Nash Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Northern Nash, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
