Monarch is a perfect 9-0 against Horizon since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Coyotes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. The timing isn't great for Monarch: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Horizon has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Monarch headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Frederick let them put that streak behind them. The Coyotes never let the Golden Eagles get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Paloma Mellish as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Horizon and Silver Creek combined for 17 shots on goal on Tuesday, which explains the impressive six total goals scored. The Hawks walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Raptors.

Monarch moved to 2-5-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Horizon, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1-1.

Monarch was able to grind out a solid win over Horizon when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Coyotes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
