The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for New Life Christian in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now lost five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cole Owens, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Hardy, who scored eight points along with six assists and six rebounds.
New Life Christian dropped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14.
New Life Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on February 16th. As for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Missouri (Logos is ranked 588th, while the Crusaders are ranked 569th).
