Meanwhile, Williams Valley lost 14-4 to Tri-Valley on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Fletcher Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Deibert, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Schuylkill Haven has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Williams Valley, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Everything went Schuylkill Haven's way against Williams Valley when the teams last played on April 3rd, as Schuylkill Haven made off with a 12-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hurricanes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
