Bear Grass Charter won against Cape Hatteras last Thursday with 19 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bears put the hurt on the Columbia Wildcats with a sharp 19-1 win. Considering the Bears have won ten matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Bear Grass Charter's third in a row) raised their record to 13-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Columbia, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Bear Grass Charter will head out on the road to take on Pamlico County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hurricanes have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
