Poston Butte is 6-1 against ALA - Queen Creek since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Jasmine Barrera was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Kimberly Westover was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Barrera wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Poston Butte lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. The Broncos are a perfect 7-0 when they post two or more home runs.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, ALA - Queen Creek was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They came up short against Flagstaff, falling 11-1.

Poston Butte's record now sits at 14-8. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Poston Butte has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .504. However, it's not like ALA - Queen Creek struggles in that department as they've averaged .469. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Poston Butte beat ALA - Queen Creek 7-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
