The Oak Ridge Trojans will face off against the Folsom Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Ridge will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Oak Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let St. Francis get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Trojans have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ellison Schroeder tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Oak Ridge let Brooklyn Paratore and Carly Short run wild. Paratore scored three runs while going 3-for-3, while Short scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs Paratore has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emery Glaser, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Oak Ridge hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five strikeouts batters in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Folsom's offense. They came up short against Del Oro on Wednesday, falling 22-0. That makes it the first time this season the Bulldogs have let down their home crowd.
Oak Ridge's victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Folsom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5-2.
Folsom's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Oak Ridge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. It's a different story for Folsom, though, as they've only averaged .343. Will they be able to contain Oak Ridge's hitters?
Everything went Oak Ridge's way against Folsom when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Oak Ridge made off with a 13-0 victory. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
