Vernon-Verona-Sherrill can attribute much of their success to Atticus Roque, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Donegan, who scored 13 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals.
The victory got Vernon-Verona-Sherrill back to even at 1-1. As for Unadilla Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill's road trip will continue as they head out to face Oneida at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Unadilla Valley, they will take on Edmeston Central at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th.
