Granby is a perfect 10-0 against Norcom since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Greyhounds at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Norcom will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Granby extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. The Comets' pitcher stepped up to hand Manor a 14-0 shutout. The Comets' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matchups.

Kyrsten Wells made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double.

In other batting news, Aerabella H was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Caelah Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Granby hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Norcom hadn't done well against Norview recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Greyhounds blew past the Pilots 22-9. The high-scoring effort was just what the Greyhounds needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Granby pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Norcom, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Everything went Granby's way against Norcom when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Granby made off with a 17-0 win. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
