After failing to score in their last game, Estero made sure to put some goals up on the board against Bonita Springs on Thursday. They blew past the Bonita Springs Bullsharks 8-0. The Wildcats' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Estero was without their leading scorer, Payton Carnes, in Thursday's contest. With Carnes sidelined, Estero had to make some changes to the lineup. And. Samantha Moore made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Estero pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Bonita Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Estero wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Barron Collier on the 12th. Bonita Springs has also already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Cypress Lake on the 10th.
