Bangor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Greg Campbell, who threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Bangor also got help from Mj Siu who showed off his sure hands for 81 receiving yards.
The team's defense also helped out by holding Pen Argyl to a paltry 183 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Bangor's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out five times before it was all said and done. Pen Argyl's QB won't forget Jacob Weaver anytime soon given Weaver sacked him five times.
Bangor's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Pen Argyl, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Bangor will head out on the road to face off against Allentown Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Allentown Central Catholic will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. As for Pen Argyl, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mahanoy Area at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mahanoy Area will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
