While losing is never fun, Royal Palm Beach can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 471st, while Park Vista is ranked 233rd).
Park Vista's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Saniya Frazier, who scored 27 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Frazier is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Giulliana Mendonca, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Royal Palm Beach has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Park Vista, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1.
Royal Palm Beach will play host again and welcome Wellington, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Park Vista, they will head out on the road to face off against Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
