Summers County dropped their record down to 8-15-1 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Princeton Tigers, falling 11-0. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 11-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Princeton, the victory snapped their losing streak at 21 games and leaves them with a 3-21 record. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

For Princeton's part, Evan Wright was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those six RBI gave Wright a new career-high. Brody Combs was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Coming up, Summers County will welcome Bluefield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Princeton, they will head out to face off against Nicholas County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
