DeAngelo Brown, 6-1, 285, Savannah Christian, SeniorHeaded
to Louisville, Brown led Savannah Christian to the Georgia A state
championship and was named the Class A state Defensive Player of the Year.
Aaron Austad, DL, 6-1, 235, Manti (Utah), SeniorAustad led
Manti to a Utah Class 2A state championship and was named the state's Most Valuable Player. He had 84 tackles and six sacks on defense.
Donald Trevino, DL, 6-2, 240, Refugio, SeniorThe
Texas Class 2A state Defensive Player of the Year and a member of the
Caller Times All-South Texas squad, Trevino had 167 tackles, including
14 for loss.
Mitch Keppy, DL, 6-5, 285, Riverdale (Ill.), SeniorHeaded
to Iowa, Keppy was the Western Illinois Player of the Year by the Quad
Cities Times. He was also an Illinois Coaches Association All-State pick.
Tevin Bryson, DL, 6-4, 285, Humboldt (Tenn.), SeniorA Nashville Tennesseean Dream Team all-state selection, Bryson had 51 tackles, five sacks and three forced fumbles.
Conner Sherwood, LB, 6-0, 220, Cascia Hall (Tulsa, Okla.), SeniorA
Tulsa World All-Metro Team selection, Sherwood had 120 tackles,
including 13 for loss, on the season and finished his career with 408
tackles. He will play at Tulsa next season.
Daquan Lucas, LB, 5-9, 185, Timberland (Saint Stephen, S.C.), SeniorHeaded
to Miami (Ohio), Lucas bulked up for his senior season and made 114
tackles, 22 for loss, and had 12 sacks in earning all-state honors by
the High School Sports Report.
Jonathon Jackson, LB, 6-0, 205, Mayfield (Ky.), Junior

Mayfield
has reached the state finals three times during Jackson's tenure with
the team, winning the Class A title in 2010. He earned all-state honors
by the Louisville Courier-Journal by making 156 tackles with five
interceptions. He also rushed for 1,672 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Zack Giuliano, 6-1, 190, Hilmar (Calif.), SeniorGiuliano earned Defensive Player of the Year honors by the Modesto Bee while making 172
tackles with three sacks and two interceptions for the Sac-Joaquin
Section Division IV champs.
Tony Miller, LB, 6-2, 210, Gretna (Va.), SeniorA
two-way all-state selection for Gretna, Miller earned the Virginia
Preps Single A state player of the year honor. He had 127 tackles and
five interceptions for the Division 2 state champions.
Dalton Ferch, DB, 5-11, 182, West Marshall (State Center, Iowa), SeniorOne
of the all-time leading rushers and scorers in Iowa history, Ferch
rushed for 2,219 yards and 42 touchdowns and had 98 touchdowns and 589
points in his career. He also picked off 21 passes in his career and was
named the Class 2A state Player of the Year.
B.J. Knauf, DB, 5-10, 168, Santa Fe Catholic (Fla.), SeniorA
Florida Class 2A all-state pick, Knauf was also the Polk Preps Small
School Offensive Player of the Year. He had 90 tackles on defense and
also rushed for 1,769 yards and threw for 861 yards while accounting for
33 total touchdowns.
Tony Fields, DB, North Florida Christian (Tallahassee, Fla.), SophomoreAn all-state selection for the Class 2A state champs, Fields had 108 tackles and five interceptions for the Eagles.
Rayshawn Jenkins, DB, 6-1, 190, Admiral Farragut (St. Petersburg, Fla.), SeniorEarned
all-state 2A honors and made the All-Suncoast Team by the Tampa Tribune
after helping Admiral Farragut reach the state finals.
Brian Bostrom, P, 6-0, 170, King's Academy (Sunnyvale, Calif.), SeniorBesides
kicking six field goals this year, including a 53-yarder, Bostrom also
excelled as a punter, averaging 45 yards per kick. He also put 75
percent of his kickoffs into the end zone.
