On Friday, while the East Hardy Cougars put up plenty of points, the same can't be said for the Petersburg Vikings. East Hardy simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Petersburg 39-0 on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for East Hardy's ten-point performance the matchup before.
Price Strawderman was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. East Hardy also got a significant boost from Tyler Tarallo, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
East Hardy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Petersburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
East Hardy is on the road again on Saturday and play against St. Marys at 1:30 p.m. on November 11th. St. Marys is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Petersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
