Payette's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the McCall-Donnelly Vandals get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Pirates this season.

Anna Moreno made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Moreno was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Haylo Collingwood and Maddy Brown did most of the damage at the plate: Collingwood went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run, while Brown went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those four RBI gave Collingwood a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lucia Walker, who earned one RBI, two runs, and two stolen bases.

Payette moved to 5-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for McCall-Donnelly, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Payette will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vandals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
