 Jasmine Morales made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run any time she's  pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 Morales wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Terra Singleton, who  went 2-for-4 with one  RBI.  Irelyn Weaver also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
Roseburg's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Oregon City,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 Coming up, Roseburg will be playing in front of their home fans against South Salem  at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Oregon City, they will square off against Foothill at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
