The Ben Lomond Scots lost against the Timpanogos Timberwolves back in December of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ben Lomond was dealt a 83-53 loss at the hands of Timpanogos. Ben Lomond has not had much luck with Timpanogos recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Ben Lomond still got an impressive performance from Jake East, who scored 28 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Deshawn Holland, who scored 9 points.
Jaxen Mccuistion was a one-man wrecking crew for Timpanogos as he scored 30 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Mccuistion has scored at least 25% of Timpanogos' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Johnson, who scored 12 points along with 5 steals.
Ben Lomond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Timpanogos, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Ben Lomond will be playing at home against American Prep WV at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Averaging 67 so far this season, American Prep WV's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Ben Lomond better be ready for a challenge. As for Timpanogos, they will head out on the road to face off against Tooele at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Tooele focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Tuesday.
