The Coahulla Creek Colts entered their tilt with the Bremen Blue Devils with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Coahulla Creek secured a 46-41 W over Bremen on Thursday. Given Coahulla Creek's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Bremen is ranked 567th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Gage Voyles was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Andrew Russell, who scored four points along with three steals.
Coahulla Creek has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Bremen, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-23.
